In English In his keynote (~35min) at the Holland Open Software Conference 2006, Eben Moglen, lawyer of the Free Software Foundation talks about the drafting process of GPLv3 and the philosophy behind it.
He also speaks about the retirement of Bill Gates as chairman of Microsoft and the implications which this decision will have.
In the keynote several references to ‘thursday’ are made: this stands for the discussion on Licenses and DRM at HOSC.

Later this week we will publish the second part of this session, in which Eben Moglen answers questions of the audience.
